IMPACT Hosts 23rd Edition of Thailand International Dog Show

IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., Thailand’s leading organizer of pet trade exhibitions, proudly presents the 23rd edition of SmartHeart presents Thailand International Dog Show, the largest and longest-running dog-centric event in the country. Spanning over 10,000 square meters, the event celebrates the human–canine bond by offering interactive experiences for dog lovers and their furry companions. This year’s show promotes quality pet parenting aligned with upcoming pet ownership regulations and includes an industry seminar exploring sustainable growth in the pet sector. The event is expected to generate over THB 75 million in economic value.
According to Ms. Kunwadee Jintavorn, Executive Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., “Dog-related events remain the most prominent in Thailand in terms of number, scale, and consumer spending. With more than 3.45 million dogs projected to be owned by Thais in 2025 (source: Kasikorn Research Center), the SmartHeart Dog Show—co-organized with The Kennel Association of Thailand—continues to stand as the nation’s premier event for dog lovers, offering over 300 brands of products and services.”
Long-time attendees show strong interest in Pet-Friendly Lifestyle experiences where owners and dogs can enjoy activities together such as games, shows, photography, and video creation. As a result, the 2025 event is themed “Dog Show Adventure”, transforming the venue into a shared world of exploration and bonding.
Highlights include the prestigious International Dog Beauty Contest hosted by The Kennel Association of Thailand, competing for the Royal Trophy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother. This globally recognized competition invites a panel of 10 expert judges from around the world and expects over 4,300 dogs to compete. Another major attraction is the Professional Dog Grooming Competition by F.C.I. Thailand, featuring Thailand’s top grooming experts.
The show also features a range of engaging, joyful activities that enhance the bond between dogs and their owners:

Pet Industry Seminar: Bubble or Sustainable Growth?
On June 26, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM, the Thai Pet Product Industries Association (TPIA) will host a seminar titled “Bubble or Sustainable Growth?” to address the long-term outlook of the pet economy. The session invites manufacturers, importers, exporters, retailers, and startups to share insights and evaluate risks and opportunities across production, distribution, innovation, and investment. The goal is to facilitate industry-wide dialogue that can drive sustainable development.
Supporting Responsible Pet Ownership
As the official organizer of Thailand’s largest dog event, IMPACT supports the 2024 Bangkok Ordinance on the Control of Animal Ownership and Release, effective January 10, 2026. The ordinance mandates pet registration, public cleanliness, and animal welfare protection. The Dog Show plays a role in raising awareness and preparing both pet owners and businesses for the changes. Onsite, the event provides free health checkups by veterinarians from Hato Animal Hospital, pet resting zones, dog toilets, first-aid stations, and safety protocols including mandatory use of leashes or carriers at all times to ensure a safe environment for every pet.
